Is is okay for my child to chew on the necklace or bracelet?
No. Amber necklaces and bracelets are made for wearing, not chewing. As Baltic amber is fosilised resin and a natural product any great pressure and the beads will break apart. Always deter from chewing and offer an alternative.
Are Baltic amber teething necklaces safe?
As a safety feature each bead is individually knotted so that in the event that the necklace breaks, only one bead would come off. Traditional plastic screw clasps are used, and are designed to break if pressure is applied. Amber teething jewellery is made for wearing not for chewing - always deter infants from chewing the necklace or bracelet, and offer alternatives. Remove while sleeping and when unsupervised. Alternatively, place around the ankle under a sock or footed sleepsuit. Adult supervision is recommended at all times due to these items having small parts.
Is it okay for my child to wear their necklace or bracelet to bed?
It is recommended to remove the necklace or bracelet while sleeping and when unsupervised.Alternatively, place around the ankle under a sock or footed sleepsuit. Placing the jewellery under a secured fitted sheet may also be beneficial. Adult supervision is always recommended at all times due to these items having small parts.
Is it okay to leave the necklace on while swimming or bathtime?
It is recommended amber jewellery be removed before swimming or bathing, otherwise the beads can be damaged and the string weakened.
When can my baby start wearing a teething necklace or bracelet?
When they start to show signs of teething (approx 4 - 6 months or earlier) or when you feel comfortable putting it on them. The earlier an infant wears a necklace against their skin and under their clothing the less they will be interested in it as it will feel apart of them.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Returns Policy
If your product is faulty please contact us within 30 days of purchasing and send it back to us for review. If the product is faulty we will replace the product and postage.
