I came across Baltic amber teething necklaces before my son was born. A friend was telling me how amazing her daughter’s amber teething necklace was. She only had to resort to one tube of teething gel whereas her friend had used ten tubes of teething gel! As I didn’t want to give my son anything unnatural or toxic, I tried it out. I didn't even realise he was teething and teeth had popped through. However, I did notice big changes when he was 14 months old and we lost his necklace! It was a nightmare. Until I bought him another necklace, I had to resort to giving him paracetamol for the first time since he was born.
When my son was 12 months old, he suffered an allergic reaction to penicillin when he had welts all over his body. I was told that it would take 5 days to clear. I put his Baltic amber necklace on and you could see the rash disappearing from the neck down and within less than 2 days it had gone completely and he was also a lot more settled!
From 21 months of age, my son has been trying to put his necklace on himself! At two we didn't need to resort to any other unnatural remedies while his last molars popped through. At three, even though he had finished teething he was still wearing his necklace and I noticed he was always a lot calmer and less irritable when he was wearing his necklace. Friends have also commented the same with their kids too! From aged four, he wears it for growing pains and he doesn't complain that his legs are hurting anymore. He also tells me he feels better wearing it and he doesn't get sick. I now also wear an adult amber bracelet and have found when I don't wear it I get wrist pain again.
I was so impressed with the results, I decided to start selling them and therefore Teething Made Easy was created in 2010. Not only are they reasonably priced, they look cute too!
